And don't forget to use Unifrog to explore all your options further! We'll be putting regular updates on there to help you navigate your way through the site. Keep an eye on your email inbox for notifications of careers events that may interest you.
OPEN EVENTS BACK ON!
We are starting to hear of a few of the local post-16 colleges opening up personal tours again - and there are even a few plans in place for actual open events in July! If you've applied to college but haven't yet had a chance to look around, keep an eye on their website (links are provided on the College pages of this site). Even if you've already made up your mind, having a look around will make things a little more familiar for you in September!
Year 10 Careers Meetings
This term we are starting on the Year 10 careers meetings. This is your chance to spend time with a qualified careers specialist to discuss your future plans and options. Please see letters home for further details, and watch out for your slot over the coming months!
Virtual Work Experience
5-7 May is virtual work experience! By now all year 10s should be set up with the log-ins and details for accessing the virtual work experience platforms with Speakers for Schools or Changing Education. This should be a hugely rewarding experience for our students, in a time when many schools have not been able to offer any form of work experience. We can't wait to see how you get on - and remember to log your experience in Unifrog, to be included on your CV!
