SUN Parent Hub: Virtual Higher Education Day - The Southern Universities Network is pleased to announce that registration is now open for their inaugural SUN Parent Hub Virtual Event. Taking place on Thursday 1st October, the event is open to the parents and carers of students aged 16-18 residing in Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight. Bringing together a diverse array of content from University, College and Local Authority partners, sessions delivered within the event will provide a unique opportunity for attendees to gain valuable information on Higher Education and future careers from the comfort of their homes. Alongside the tailored webinars, SUN are also pleased to announce Baasit Siddiqui from the popular television show GoggleBox, as their keynote speaker. As part of the build-up to the event, SUN is running a competition where they are asking attendees to record their own 5-minute Podcast. The prize for the winning entry is a bundle of professional podcasting equipment worth £300. Competition entries close on Friday 9th October.
